2014 Central Coast Past Presidents' Charity Day at Terrigal

On Monday 14th July the CC branch of the Past Presidents' held their annual Charity Day at Terrigal Women Bowling Club with 30 teams taking part in the event.     The weather, although chilly stayed fine and all enjoyed their bowls.

The winners of the day were the Avoca Beach team of Heather Riley, June Kelly, Robyn McLean and Coral Allenby (skip). The runner-up was a team from Davistown with Rosemary Cartmill as skip. A surprise prize was also presented to a team from Ettalong Memorial skipped by Maureen Kerr.

PP President Floss Irvine thanked Terrigal for hosting the day and all those who attended for their generous support making the day such a success.  Total amount raised on the day was $916.

The Past Presidents' Association has 3 events each year raising money at these events for the  hospital auxiliaries at Gosford, Wyong and Woy Woy on a rotation basis.  This year at the Christmas function Woy Woy Hospital auxiliary will be the recipient.    These events are made possible by the generosity of our members and the valued support of bowlers throughout the central coast.
