2014 CC PAST PRESIDENTS CHRISTMAS PARTY

Ettalong was the host venue for the 2014 Central Coast Past Presidents Christmas get together. Club President Lauren Williams welcomed all and handed the proceedings over to PP President Floss Irvine who in turn welcomed all Past Presidents and their guests to the day.
After morning tea 26 teams went out to have a fun game of bowls. A spider was held on green 2 and all participants received a small gift with a lucky 2 getting the main and second special spider prizes. Luckily the weather held and it was not too hot. All seemed to enjoy the game. It was then time to enjoy a lovely luncheon and draw the raffles and tombola prizes. The main spider winner was Judy Bream from Wamberal and she received 2 bottles of wine in a presentation case and the second prize winner, Norma Watkins from Davistown received 1 bottle of wine.
Special guests on the day were Woy Woy Hospital Auxilliary President Phyllis Thomas and Secretary Pat Harding. Throughout the year the Past Presidents raise money at their 3 events to support the hospital auxilliaries for Gosford, Wyong and Woy Woy Hospitals. This year it was Woy Woy's turn to receive the donation. CC President Floss was delighted to present a cheque for $3000.00 to Woy Woy Hospital Auxilliary President Phyllis. She thanked everyone very much and said the money would be put to good use in helping to buy much needed equipment for the hospital.
PP President Floss thanked Ettalong President Lauren and her ladies for their hospitality and thanked all Past Presidents and their guests for all for their support throughout the year and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
