2015 PENNANT POST SECTIONALS

The weather played havoc with the Post Sectional Pennant playoffs at Ettalong Memorial. Monday April 20th - Grade 4 play was interupted several times with heavy rain and the conditions were not friendly for the players. Start of play was delayed and that set the trend for the day. After one downpour the players had a break for lunch to see what the weather would do, however with a stirling effort by the ladies round one finally got completed at 2.45pm. Round two commenced but play eventually was abandonded at 4.40pm. Play for the rest of that week was also cancelled with play re-scheduled for the following week.

Monday April 27th and Tuesday 28th were perfect days. All games were completed. Grade 1 having only one section was 'first past the post'. Results of all Grades were:

GRADE 1: WINNER ETTALONG MEMORIAL

Runner Up: AVOCA BEACH

GRADE 2: WINNER WYONG

Runner Up: BATEAU BAY

GRADE 3: WINNER DAVISTOWN RSL

Runner Up: BREAKERS

GRADE 4: WINNER HALEKULANI

Runner Up: WYONG
