2015 Veteran's Day at Halekulani
On Monday 24th August the first of the District's Veterans Days for bowlers 70+ was held at Halekulani Bowling Club. Halekulani President Patricia Reynolds welcomed District President Dianne Elsom who in turn welcomed all to the day. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind with rain preventing the ladies from bowling. However this did not prevent all from enjoying the day. The ladies played trivia to fill in the time before luncheon was served.
It was then on to the important part of the day when the veterans badges were presented to those eligible. Star Super Veteran Badges for 90 and Super Veteran Badges for those attaining 80. They also received a fruit tray each.

The most Senior Veteran present was Jean Gordon from Toukley Memorial and the youngest was Margaret Della from Diggers at the Entrance. They were each given a lovely gift to remember the day.
