2016 REGION 6 MIXED PAIRS
Winners Sam Laguzza, Lauretta Marchese
Charlestown Bowling Club was the venue for the Regional Playoff for the Mixed Pairs.
Representing the Cental Coast were Cynthia Cameron and Kevin O'Neill from Wyong and from Lake Macquarie were Lauretta Marchese and Sam Laguzza from Kahibah.
The format was the same as played at District level. Two sets of 5 ends and if necessary a 1 end tie breaker. The day was sunny with a cool breeze blowing when the players went on to the green. The team of Lauretta and Sam settled down quickly and won both sets and will now go on to play in the State playoffs at Tuncurry in October.
Congratulation to Lauretta and Sam and well done to Cynthia and Kevin for reaching the Regional playoff.
