2016 NEPEAN TROPHY
On Monday 30th August Central Coast District travelled to Windsor Bowling Club to play Nepean District for the Nepean Trophy. We were welcomed by Nepean President Jackie and her players.
Forty players [10 teams of 4] represented each district. 18 ends were played with the winning district being decided by total aggregate shots. At the end of play Central Coast had won on 4 rinks against Nepean's 6 rinks but however our overall score was 169 shots to their 148 meaning Central Coast retained the trophy for another year.
Central Coast President Dianne happily accepted the trophy from Nepean President Jackie and said we all looked forward to welcoming them to the Central Coast next year.
The matches were played with the usual friendship and all enjoyed the day. Thanks to Windsor Bowling Club for their hospitality.
