2016 LAKES TROPHY
The 2016 Lakes Trophy was played between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie on Friday 30th September at Halekulani Bowling Club. Club President Trish welcomed Central Coast District President Dianne who in turned welcomed Lake Macquarie President Jan and her ladies as well as our own Central Coast players.
The day was extremely windy and overcast which made playing conditions difficult. Seven teams of 4 players from each district played 21 ends. The winning district was determined by total aggregate shots. Once again Lake Macquarie proved too strong on the day winning 186 shots to 114. This is the fourth year in a row they have won the Trophy.
Congratulations to Lake Macquarie players and also to Central Coast players.
Central Coast President Dianne presented the trophy to Lake Macquarie President Jan and we look forward to travelling to Lake Macquarie district next year to once again contest this trophy.
