2017 TRIPLES
Monday 3rd July was the date for the commencement of the 2017 Triples with 59 entries. Breakers and The Entrance hosted day 1. The weather was overcast and very cool but it did not deter the players. Day 2 was a lovely sunny day which the players appreciated. The venue was Gwandalan. Ettalong hosted the Semi's and Final on thursday 6th July.

Final:What an exciting final. The Ettalong team lead all the way with not much in it for most of the game. The Avoca team was 3 behind going into the last end and were holding match with one bowl to play but Pam Donnelly drew in to cut it down to 3 shots making it a draw and forcing an extra end to be played. Ettalong were holding shot and match with one bowl to be played. Karen Croker played an onshot moving the jack and bowl resulting in the Avoca team getting up by one shot. It was a great game and both teams played excellent bowls.
Congratulations to Judy,Margaret and Karen. Also congratulations to Sheena,Gayle and Pam who played extremely well.
The winners now go on to contest the Region 6 playoffs on Monday 31st July or Tuesday 1st August at Redhead Bowling Club, Lake Macquarie District.
