2017 LAKES TROPHY
The 2017 Annual Challenge between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie Districts was held on Friday 29th September at Wangi Bowling Club. Wangi President Fay welcomed both Districts and then handed the proceedings over to Lake Macquarie President Jan who wished all good bowling as did Central Coast President Dianne.
Each District was represented by 28 selected players in teams of 4. Each playing 21 ends. The winning District was decided by the total aggregate score. On this occasion the Lake Macquarie players proved too good for the Central Coast ladies with the winning score being 167 to 99. Central Coast had only 1 rink win with a couple of the other rinks very close.
