The post sectional pennant playoffs commenced on Monday 22nd April. The Entrance President Pam welcomed District Personnel and players and handed over to District President Pat.

The first day saw Grade 4 commence their round robin. Clubs involved were Canton Beach, Davistown RSL, Golden Hind, Halekulani and Woy Woy. The weather was a bit uncertain when we arrived but luckily the sun shone through and remained so for the remainder of the 3 days.

Tuesday 23rd saw Grade 2 Avoca Beach, Bateau Bay and Wyong; and Grade 3 Avoca Beach, Canton Beach, Ettalong Memorial and Woy Woy commence their round robin play.

The final day, Wednesday 24th Grade 1 Everglades and Terrigal arrived to play a straight off final.

Throughout the 3 days we saw great bowls and it was tremendous to see the hundreds of supporters encouraging their respective sides each day. The atmosphere was 'electric' and was great to see. The final day of play saw some very close, 'nail biting' finishes. Well done to all who competed.

The event was completed with luncheon and speeches by each of the winning and runners up's clubs presidents. Pres. Pat thanked The Entrance club and their social ladies for their hospitality over the 3 days. All District personnel were also thanked for their help and congratulated on a job well done.

The winners now go on to the Region 6 playoffs which will be held at Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club on the 11th June. One game only a.m. against Lake Macquarie pennant winners.
