2012 State Championships
Monday 8th October was the start of the Triples. Representing the Central Coast and Region 6 were Norma Wright, Julie Grant and Jan Hiron from The Entrance. They had a tough draw in the first round against Jan Agar, Sharyn Renshaw and Beth Quinlan from St.John's Park who were the eventual winners. They aquitted themselves well and were level and at times in front of the St.John's Park ladies but as the match progressed the players from St.John's Park crept ahead and eventually took out the game. Congratulations to both teams on a great match.
Wednesday 10th October was the first day of the Open and Senior Fours. Our ladies from Terrigal Julia Silvia, Mavis Garrick, Dianne Fernance and Pam Colbran were playing in the Senior Fours. They played against a team from St.Georges Basin skipped by Meg McClure. This game was close all the way and our ladies were only just beaten. Well done to them and congratulations to both teams on a very exciting match and finish.
