2012 Umpires Discussion Group Christmas Party
The Central Coast Umpires Discussion Group held their Christmas get together at Gosford City Bowling Club on Monday 3rd December. Unfortunately the weather was not kind with wet conditions preventing play but this did not hinder the spirit of the day. Gosford Pres.Judy welcomed Umpires Leader Leanne who in turn welcomed District Pres. Pat, Secretary Dianne, Treasurer Narelle and all umpires to the day.
After a morning tea of mince pies we had to test our 'brain power' with a trivia quizz. Lots of laughter could be heard as answers were discussed. It was then on to a fun game of 'bowlers hoy' with some rather unusual scoring. This certainly filled in the morning. We then enjoyed a lovely luncheon provided by the Gosford City Ladies. Raffles and lucky out of hat prize winners were drawn.
Leanne thanked Gosford Pres. Judy and her ladies giving each a small gift. The day ended with a rousing rendition of "Jingle Bells". All were wished a Merry Christmas.
