2012 Past President's Charity Day
The Central Coast Branch of the Womens Past President's Association held it's annual Charity Day at Terrigal Bowling Club on Monday 16 July. 24 teams from around the district joined together for a fun day of bowls. The weather was very kind with a lovely sunny day. Vice President Beryl who was standing in for President Narelle, welcomed all and thanked Terrigal President Pam for their club's hospitality. The Craft table was very popular as were the tombola and raffle. A total of $1200.00 was raised to go towards money donated to Gosford Hospital Auxiliary later in the year. Our thanks to all who contributed both with gifts and supporting the day.
A 'spider' was held on the green before commencement of play. The closest to the 'spider' was Kim Trethewy [Wamberal], 2nd was Lesley Mason [Wamberal], 3rd was Mavis Garrick [Terrigal].
