2012 Region 6 Championships
On Monday 9 July Region 6 Championship playoffs were held at The Entrance Bowling Club. Central Coast District was host for this event between Lake Macquarie and ourselves. Weather wise it was a great day, ideal for playing bowls. The morning began with an official morning tea and welcome. The Entrance's President Pam Russ welcomed Central Coast V.P. Pat Frewin who in turn welcomed State Regional 6 Representative Lesley Swales [who is also President of the C.C.D.] and President Irene Murray from Lake Macquarie and their respective representatives and players. Lesley congratulated the players on reaching the Regional playoffs and wished them all good bowling. The cards were called and play commenced.
