2011 State Championships
The State Championships are held at Tuncurry this week, from Saturday 8th October.
In the Fours we were represented by the experienced team from The Entrance of Margaret Saunders, Dorothy Dorrington, Julie Grant and Jan Hiron. They had a good win in their first game against Candelo-Kameruka which put them into the Quarter finals. However just went down to Inverell in this game. Well done girls.
The Triples team from Ettalong Memorial, Daphne Lowe, Susan Murphy and Maureen Kerr had a real tussle with an experienced Inverell team, going down in the last ends. As this was their first encounter at this level they have done very well.
