Maitland Park Bowling Club was the venue for our annual Interdelegates day with Hunter River District on Friday 23rd September. 53 Central Coast delegates and District personnel travelled to this lovely spot. The club is located in Maitland Park and this was a picture with all the spring flowers out.
After a lovely morning tea provided by Maitland Park President Margaret and her ladies and a welcome by District President Wanda it was on to the green for a fun game of bowls. It was a very hot day with a gusty wind blowing but no one seemed to mind. There was much laughter and chatter. We played until about midday then it was inside for a relaxing drink before lunch.
After a very nice lunch the raffles and tombola were drawn. Our Central Coast ladies seemed to do well, winning quite a lot of prizes. President Wanda introduced her District Personnel as did President Lesley. Thanks all round for a lovely day and we look forward to meeting again next year when it will be Central Coasts turn to host this day.
