Monday 15th August saw the commencement of the State Pennant Playoffs. Bateau Bay Grade 2 are playing at Dubbo City. The day started off a bit chilly with misty conditions but improved as the day went on. Our Bateau Bay ladies started off slowly but gradually got the feel of the very fast greens. In their first game they played Asquith and for a while it was neck and neck but towards the end our ladies went ahead winning on both rinks. Game 2 was against Greenacre and both teams had good wins. Tuesday they met Inverell in the morning unfortunately going down on both rinks and also going down to Goulburn Railway in the afternoon on both rinks. Wednesday morning, the last round in sectional play saw our ladies win against Manly Central. This was not enough to win the section, this being won by Goulburn Railway.

However we are very proud of their efforts and congratulate them on reaching the State Pennant playoffs.
