Delegates Day 2011
Monday July 4th saw 66 delegates and committee members enjoying themselves at the annual Delegates Day. Mingara was the venue this year. President Shirley from Mingara welcomed District President Lesley who in turn welcolmed all delegates and committee members and wished them a happy, fun day. After a lovely morning tea of scones, jam and cream it was on to the bowling green for most, although there were a few non players. The selectors kept everyone on their toes with gifts for the first person to get a toucher and so on. Everyone certainly enjoyed themselves. It was then upstairs to the Indigo restaurant for a delicious meal. Everyone present received a gift. Thanks to Mingara for their hospitality. A lovely day was had by all.
