2011 Grade 1 unfurling
Terrigal's Grade 1 Flag was raised onTuesday 31st May. Unfortunately the weather was not good with rain and wind, however not to be detered the unfurling was held indoors. President Pam's husband had made up an indoor flag pole the day before [just in case] and it worked well. After a lovely morning tea and congratulatory speeches, the G1 winners and runners up from Avoca Beach lead by Dist.Pres. Lesley, Club Pres. Pam and District Chairman of Match, marched through a guard of honour formed by the ladies to the front of the room where the Grade 1 flag was raised by District President Lesley. All went well and the Terrigal players received their badges and certificates. The runners up Avoca Beach also were presented with their certificates. All then stayed for some fun and games indoors.
