2013 TRIPLES
The State Triples at District level were played from 17th to 20th June. It was cold and wintery on each of the play days. Monday clubs used were Woy Woy, Avoca Beach and Everglades. Tuesday was Wyong and the semi-final and final were played at Wamberal on Thursday. Thanks go to all these clubs for hosting this event.

Thursday 20th Wamberal Womens Bowling Club welcomed the District and players for the Semi-finals in the morning and Final in the afternoon. It was a dismal day weather wise. The players endeavoured to keep warm with hot drinks. The results were:
Semi-Finals:
Judy King's team defeated Pam Colbran's team
Elaine Vincent's team defeated Judy Henderson's team.
This meant we had an all Everglades final. A repeat of the Singles which was also an all Everglades final.
It was a tightly fought match until finally Judy's team surged ahead and went on to win. Well done to all the players.

District President Pat congratulated the players and thanked Vice President Robyn Raymond and her ladies from Wamberal for their hospitality.
The winners now go on to play in the Region 6 playoffs to be held at Charlestown on 6th August.
