2013 PAST PRESIDENTS CHRISTMAS PARTY

New President of the Womens Central Coast Past President's Association Floss Irvine welcomed all to the Christmas Party Day and thanked Ettalong President Lauren Williams for the use of their club.  130 Bowlers enjoyed the very happy atmosphere of the day.  After morning tea the ladies headed out for a fun game of bowls, beginning with a 'spider'.   Everyone got a gift and the main 'spider' prize was won by Gwenda Thomas.   Those left inside decorated the tables ready for the luncheon.  All present received a bookmark commemorating the Central Coast Associations 40th year.

Rain unfortunately stopped play a little earlier than expected but everyone made the most of it enjoying a chat while we waited for lunch.

Special guests were Bill and Margaret Mason, President and Secretary of the Wyong Hospital Auxilliary.    Money raised throughout the year by the PP Association through the generosity of members and supporters goes to the 3 Hospital auxilliaries on the Coast, namely Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy.   This year it was Wyongs turn.  P.P.President Floss was delighted to present  Bill Mason with a cheque for $3000.00.   Bill thanked everyone very much and said the money would be put to good use helping to purchase much needed equipment for the hospital.

Lucky door prizes, tombola, raffles and random winners and runners up gifts were distributed and all agreed it had been a very happy, successful day.    President Floss thanked the Ettalong Social ladies for their help and wished all a very Merry Christmas.

We look forward to our next event,  the Ruth Shoebridge Trophy day on February 24th to be held at Gosford City Bowling Club.
