2014 Pennant Post Sectional Playoffs

The 2014 post Sectional Pennants have now been completed.     Played at Ettalong Memorial from 12th to 14th May.

The six section winners from Grade 4 played a round robin of 5 matches.   The clubs involved were Bateau Bay[1], Halekulani[2], Munmorah United[2], Davistown RSL[2], Gwandalan and Wamberal[2].

Grade 3 with four section winners played 3 matches in a round robin.    Clubs involved were Munmorah United[2], Gwandalan, Halekulani and Canton Beach

Grades 1 and 2 played on Wednesday morning in a straight playoff as they each had only two sections.

Grade 1     Avoca Beach and Everglades.    Grade 2  Avoca Beach[1] and Munmorah United.

What great bowls were played throughout the three days culminating in much excitement on the Wednesday morning.   Results in some cases came down to the last end and the support of the spectators was great to see.     However there can only be one winner in each grade.
