2016 TRIPLES
The 2016 State Triples at District level got off to a very wet, windy start. The only venue to play on Monday 6th June was Halekulani. The other clubs, Ettalong, Everglades and The Entrance's greens were closed. Luckily play could be transferred to the same clubs for the Tuesday and continued on Wednesday, culminating in the Semi-final and Final at Avoca Beach on Thursday 9th June. Thanks to all venues for a great effort to get the event completed.
There were some very close games throughout with great bowls.

Final:
This was a closely fought final with The Entrance going ahead but then Avoca Beach gradually caught up and it was neck and neck until the last end. Congratulations to all players.

District President Dianne Elsom presented the winners with their badges, this being No. 5 for Judy but the first for Margaret and Karen. She congratulated them and also congratulated Hayley, Nicole and Denise on a great game.
