2016 Region 6 Championships
The 2016 Region 6 Championship playoffs were held at Halekulani Bowling Club on Monday August 1st. Halekulani President Trish welcomed Central Coast District President Dianne who in turned welcomed Lake Macquarie District President Jan, all District Representatives and players from both Districts. She wished all good bowling.
The morning games were: Open and Senior Fours; Open Pairs and Singles. The afternoon games were: Senior Pairs and Triples. These were necessary because of several 'double ups' of players in several events. What great bowls were witnessed throughout. In the morning both the fours and the pairs matches were decided on an extra end. In the afternoon the Triples was close right up until the second last end. All players are to be congratulated on great bowling.

The winners now go on to the State Playoffs in late October at Tuncurry.
