Helen Cruden wins Gold and Silver at Deaf Games

 

Helen Cruden from Gosford City Bowling Club has just represented Australia in the World Deaf Games in Christchurch New Zealand.

Helen was one of seven Australian women selected to represent their country last January when she played in the Australian Deaf games in Perth and was again chosen for the fours and pairs in the 2019 games held in Christchurch.

She has won Gold in the Fours and Silver in the Pairs.     

Congratulations to Helen and to all the Australian players.

Australia v’s New Zealand 22 to 9

Pairs     -  Silver Medal

Australia v’s New Zealand 13 to 18

Overall the Australian Women were awarded the Gold Achievement Medal after winning gold in the singles and fours and silver in the pairs and triples. 

The Australian Men won gold in the Pairs, Triples and Fours and a bronze in the singles.
