2019 MIXED PAIRS
The 2019 State Mixed Pairs at District level were held over 2 weekends on Sundays 3rd and 10th March at Avoca Beach. Thanks to Avoca for providing green space so that this event could be played.
Section winners from Sunday 3rd played off on Sunday 10th.
Quarter Finals:

Heather McColl, Mark Tyler def. John & Denise Ellison
Toni & Reece Oliver def. Toni Rutter, Neil Dell
Terry Hughes, Diane Whittaker def. Gloria Bosward, Peter O'Sullivan
Semi-Finals:
Both Semi Finals delivered some greating bowling. Each result came down to a one end tie-break.

Final:
We again witnessed some great bowls with the composite team of Lee Thompson(Avoca Beach) and Karen Croker(Ettalong) being too strong for the Terrigal duo of Terry Hughes and Diane Whittaker.
Congratulations to Lee and Karen. They will now proceed to play in the Region 6 playoffs on Sunday 21st July in Lake Macquarie District. The venue to be advised.
